The
Lander Children's Museum was formed in 1999 and provides children the opportunity
for innovative learning experiences that encourage them to interact with their
surroundings. The museum is targeted toward the 3-12 age group, but also provides
service opportunities for older children. The museum offers a variety of hands-on
exhibits which encompass the fields of math, science, art, music and reading.
Most of all, the Lander Children's Museum provides a place where children and
families can explore, learn and discover together!
The
Lander Children's Museum has served over 3,000 clients per year since opening
in March 2000. We have over 30 volunteers, who have donated over 2 years of working
time to keep the museum open.
