Staff & Board

Reena Minard, Executive Director

Reena is a fun loving, former preschool teacher with an extensive education in Early Childhood Development. She is also a certified garage door installer (she has her own tools!) and is a member of the Fremont County Search and Rescue (as the official photographer, but she has to hang off cliffs on ropes to do it!).

Reena brings with her a wide variety of skills that make her a well-rounded and great fit for the Lander Children’s Museum and all the exciting things we have planned. Reena is excited to join us in our mission to create fun learning opportunities for our area children and their families!

Sheri Groenke, Little Curious Minds Director & Lead Teacher

Sheri was born in Michigan and attended Grand Valley State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in special education and a minor in elementary education. She taught in Michigan for three years building a special education program for a charter school before moving to Colorado where she taught for seven years as a resource room teacher and learning specialist. Sheri, along with her husband and three boys, have been living in Fremont County four years now and in Lander for two. During this time she has been active in our community as a substitute teacher, soccer coach, and Awana leader.

Sheri loves providing creative, hands-on activities for children to experience learning. She holds high expectations for all students in both academics and behavior. Her ultimate goal as an Educator is to make a difference in students lives academically, emotionally, and socially by building relationships that foster confidence and enables them to grow as learners.
