Outreach Trunks
The Museum is pleased to offer traveling trunks to teachers that meet Wyoming
Content Standards and are filled with hands-on educational opportunities in the
areas of math, science, social studies, and more. These trunks are great for
centers and special buddy activities or to use before or after a fieldtrip to the
Museum!
The concept is simple: Teachers can check out a trunk for up to two weeks.
Reservations need to be made at least two weeks in advance. If the trunk must be
shipped, the teacher or school district is responsible for all shipping fees.
The fee to check out a trunk is $40. This program has been made possible through
a grant from the Lander District Recreation Board and the Tom and Helen Tonkin Foundation to benefit the children
and youth of Fremont County.
For more information about the contents of a specific trunk or to reserve one for
your class, please call the Museum at 332-1341.
