Outreach Trunks

The Museum is pleased to offer traveling trunks to teachers that meet Wyoming Content Standards and are filled with hands-on educational opportunities in the areas of math,
science, social studies, and more.

The concept is simple: Teachers can check out a trunk for up to two weeks. Reservations need to be made at least two weeks in advance. If the trunk must be shipped, the teacher or school district is responsible for all shipping fees.
The fee to check out a trunk is $20. Upon return of the trunk in it’s original condition with all nonconsumable contents returned, a $10 refund will be returned to the teacher/school district. This program has been made possible through a grant from the Lander District Recreation Board to benefit the children and youth of Fremont County. For more information about the contents of a specific trunk or to
reserve one for your class, please call the Museum, today!
